Over de functie
As a Senior Renewable Energy Trader, you will take on the pivotal role of overseeing Guarantees of Origin (GO) trading activities and ensuring compliance within regulations. In close collaboration with various teams and stakeholders, you will facilitate the seamless execution of trades.
Your responsibilities are:
- Conducting market analyses of the renewable energy sector to identify potential GO trading opportunities
- Efficiently executing and managing GO transactions, adhering to established risk management strategies
- Remaining up to date with regulations and assuring adherence to pertinent policies
- Building and maintaining relationships with counterparties and industry partners
Jouw kwaliteiten
To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should exhibit an entrepreneurial mindset, a hands-on approach, and the ability to cultivate a personal portfolio of clients.
Moreover, you possess:
- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Renewable Energy, or a related field
- Proven experience in GO trading or similar energy trading roles within the renewable energy domain
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills to decipher market trends and assess risks
- Effective communication and negotiation skills for liaising with various stakeholders
- Proficiency in the English language is a must, while Dutch and/or German are a big plus
