My client is a fast growing, international tech startup that is working hard to revolutionise the construction equipment industry. They specialise in the streamlining and simplification of buying and selling heavy machinery and equipment. They globally connect sellers and buyers of such equipment, always striving to provide a personal and positive customer experience, while supervising and completing the entire process. My client is now looking for a Junior Sales Agent to support the supply department from their Rotterdam office on a full-time basis.
In this position you will acquire new sellers for the German market, working in a small, dynamic and fun team. You will be responsible for business development and sales over the phone. You will manage the full sales cycle, while working towards targets and contributing to business growth. You will be in charge of coordinating deliveries and pick-ups of machines between our customers and transport companies, and in doing so you will prepare and manage all the necessary logistics documentation. Other responsibilities include continuously increasing and maintaining a complete database of carriers and negotiate rates with them, as well as assessing and recommending ideal shipping methods and routes to meet necessary specifications and costs. You will also consistently work on improving our existing dynamic transport price calculator. This job is suitable for a six-month internship or a career start.
