My client is a young, multicultural and mission-driven healthcare organization. Through their platform, they supply patients with oncological and neurological diseases all over the world. 

Over de functie

As a Sales Manager, you are responsible for sales, support, business development, and partnership management. Since the company is present in more than 50 countries, you will be dealing with a significant B2C, but mostly B2B partners.

You are primarily responsible for reaching your team goals, this is composed of 5 highly skilled professionals functioning sales support, business development, and portfolio management roles. You should be an inspirational leader who gets the most out of each of them. 

You are based in Amsterdam but frequently traveling to meet your partners and close deals.

Responsibilities:

  • You have the ability to understand the clients’ needs and requirements and translate these into profitable solutions for both B2C and B2B partners

  • You will lead the Sales, Customer Support and Business Development activities to drive revenue
  • Oversee, lead, train, and get the best out of a dedicated and highly skilled team of sales, support and business development professionals in Amsterdam

  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders

  • Manage and grow key accounts

  • Design and implement Sales strategies both B2C and B2B for various regions in the world

  • Manage partnerships and alliances and activate them to maximize mutual benefit

  • Optimize and further streamline the daily operations of your team as well as the collaboration with other teams

  • Maintain relevant knowledge to be able to level with your clients and design relevant offerings

  • An entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to further develop the business

Jouw kwaliteiten

Competencies:

  • Good understanding of intercultural communication

  • Independent, self-starter

  • Solution-oriented and flexible

  • Fluent in English (verbal and written) and at least one other language

Requirements: 

  • 5-10 years of international sales experience in the pharmaceutical sector or healthcare

  • Demonstrated successful experience working for a startup or in another hands-on environment

  • University degree in something related to healthcare or pharmaceutical
